The King is Dead - Long Live the King!

This is THE BEST summary of Stanley Random Chess I've ever read - my game has really improved!

- Joseph Schwartz
January of 1950.

Wow, just wow. Every time I analyze the famous game between Lowel Stone and Andrew Jackson Libby, I see more deeply into it. Mind Blown! Thank you SO MUCH!

- Frank Poole, 2001

Finally, I truly grasp the many layers of strategy behind the Drunken-Vulcan Gambit!

- Spock, Stardate 1207.3

I still don't get it...

Some A-Hole who only skimmed the first few pages.

Welcome to the home of everything Stanley!

This site, maintained by a small group of fans, is dedicated to the study, enjoyment, and furtherment of Stanley Random Chess. Together, we have many years of experience with SR Chess. We also seek to reduce the difficulty new players often have when learning the game. We believe everyone should have access!

The meat of the site is our free e-book Stanley Random Chess - The Definitive Summary, sometimes called the SRCtDS. Several of us have spent years condensing the rules of the game into this single volume, and we're told we've done a pretty good job. We've also recently added an updated strategy guide, a (not quite) brief history of the game, and several famous games with analysis.

Newer players may want to start with our easier to understand e-book Stanley Random Chess - Beginner's Guide, which is a step-by-step guide to the rules and basic principles of the game.

Please feel free to browse the site, Contact Us for more information, or check out our (856) 782-4822 - we sell a variety of chess sets, and related swag like Stanley shirts, mugs, and other awesome geek products.

Or if you'd like to skip straight to the books, click below.

Our e-books are always free, but please consider supporting our efforts by purchasing a Printed Copy.
